
In order to make sure your drive fits and connects properly you have to know
a little about your system. In many cases and like the pictures below,
your old drive or system will have a connector different than the drive you
purchase. The procedure to fix this is very easy;

1. Before you can do anything, locate the adapter installed
on your old drive. 2. Carefully remove all the screws
located on the back of the adapter (see red circle) |

3. Once all the screws in the back have been removed, carefully pull the
adapter away from the drive. |

If done correctly, you should have bare drive by now.
In case you want to install the adapter from your old drive to your new
drive, follow this procedures backwards (step 3 to 1) and you'll be ready to
use your new drive sooner than you espect. |
